Our story
As colleagues at Huawei in 1998, Jim Xu and Rosky Xia inspired each other and achieved every next-level goal across the four years. Rosky stepped into LED, and Jim dived into the new energy industry afterwards. Jim and our team of exceptional senior engineers have spent the last 15+ years researching, manufacturing, and perfecting battery storage technology, specializing in grid energy storage. Out of the grid scale, Jim aims to integrate energy-storage technology into everyone's life and make it available to as many people as possible. Associating with growth-minded Rosky Xia, Jim Xu founded ZBOTEK in 2019.

Meet our team
Jim Xu
Jim Xu is the Founder and the Chairman of the Company ZBOTEK. He is responsible for the Company’s overall corporate strategy and key products. He oversees the senior management team. Xu received a bachelor’s degree of electronic engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology in July 1992 and a master degree of physics from Tsinghua University in June 1994. He worked as a Senior Director in Huawei TeleCom department for almost ten years and then served as Chief Engineer in Clou Electronics before he founded ZBOTEK in 2019.
Rosk Xia
Co-Founder & CEO. Rosky Xia co-founded ZBOTEK in 2019. He took the CEO role and is currently holding directorships in various subsidiaries. He graduated from Peking University in 1996 with a master's degree in electronic engineering. He has served as Director Engineer of UT Starcom in China and Senior Development Manager of TeleCom in Huawei. Prior to co-founding ZBOTEK, Rosky founded YUCHIP in 2004, an industry-leading LED display manufacturer that has footprinted over 126 countries worldwide.
Eric Zheng
Co-Founder & Vice President. He is responsible for ZBOTEK global business development and strategic partnership management. Zheng is also currently holding directorships in various subsidiaries. Zheng graduated from Beihua University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in international economy and trade. He has acted as Oversea Sales Manager of Tianjin Sinotong Group. In 2010, Zheng joined YUCHIP and he had been focusing on sales and marketing and held senior management positions as VP.
Arthur Zhong
Senior Director of Engineering. Arthur Zhong joined ZBOTEK in 2019 and fully engaged in processes of defining and completing power storage solutions. He established several R&D departments including portable power station, home battery backup, and grid-scale power storage. He graduated from Nanchang University in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in electronic science & technology. Following his passion for electronics, Zhong restarted from the first line, QC, and then R&D and more in Desay battery.
Lisa Cheng
Head of Project Management. Cheng is responsible to lead and supervise the new, innovative, and challenging projects. She has managed multiple projects from concept to completion. Cheng graduated from Zhongnan University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in business administration major. Before joining ZBOTEK, Cheng worked as an H&R supervisor and shareholder in Geesun Intelligence-a pioneer in producing lithium-ion batteries machinery.
Jane Liu
Oversea Sales Manager Jane Liu joined ZBOTEK in 2019. She is in charge of international sales management. Liu graduated from Hunan University in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in business English major. Prior to joining ZBOTEK, Liu worked at Chipshow since 2009. She is highly responsible and grew up as a primary sales engineer, regional sales manager, oversea sales manager, and company partner in ten years. Jane has rich experience in team training and market development.
